Amino acids are chemical compounds that play an essential role in the body by serving as building blocks for proteins. In certain situations, some amino acids can be converted into glucose, making them a source of energy as well.

The Amino Acid Analysis determines the levels of amino acids in the body, as well as the relative amino acid composition of peptides and proteins. Amino acids such as leucine, isoleucine, threonine, valine, and many others are examined.
